FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How Core tiers, packs, and fees work on LeisureDeck.

How does Core pricing work?

Core scales with billable active clients per location — clients who used LeisureDeck in at least two of the last three monthly billing periods, including the most recent. Core 100 covers up to 100 (£79/mo), Core 500 up to 500 (£149/mo), and Core 1500 up to 1,500 (£249/mo). Above that is Network — contact sales.

Your Core tier updates at renewal based on the assessment for that period. Optional packs stay at a fixed monthly price.

What counts as an active client?

An active client is someone who has used LeisureDeck in at least two of the last three monthly billing periods, including the most recent period. One-off visitors, quickly cancelled signups and inactive historical clients are not counted.

How do payments work on LeisureDeck?

You pay a monthly LeisureDeck software subscription for Core and any packs you need. When members pay through the platform, Stripe processes the payment on your connected account — we do not hold your money or mark up Stripe's rates.

How does Stripe integration work?

You connect your own Stripe account. When a member pays by card or Direct Debit, funds settle to your bank through Stripe. LeisureDeck is not a payment institution — we do not hold balances or add a margin on card processing.

What are UK card fees (1.5% + 20p)?

One-off sales, bookings, and checkout usually run on cards. Stripe charges 1.5% + 20p per successful payment for standard UK-issued debit and credit cards.

Premium UK, European, and international cards cost more.

What are Bacs Direct Debit fees (1% (20p min, £4 cap))?

Recurring memberships and subscriptions are often collected by Bacs Direct Debit. Stripe charges 1% per successful payment, with a 20p minimum and £4 cap per debit.

Disputed Bacs payments may incur additional Stripe fees.

What does Build your deck include?

It picks your Core tier from active clients per location, multiplies by locations, and adds any optional packs. It does not include Stripe processing fees or VAT.

Can I add or remove packs anytime?

Yes. Core is required on every location; optional packs can be turned on or off from billing in the app. Subscription is per location.

Who owns my member data?

You do. LeisureDeck is the processor for your business — you can export your data when you need to.
